Veronica has over 20 years experience in financial services and provides the following range of consulting services:-

Since setting up The Oak Consultancy in 1992, Veronica has worked on many projects where she has combined her industry knowledge with project management, marketing and technical expertise to deliver a number of innovative products and complete projects related to the implementation of new regulation development of processes and the application of technology.
Veronica’s career has been associated with new initiatives and innovation, including:
- launch of two new life insurance companies
- launch of a new protection business for an established life office - advised on strategy, business case, product design, point of sale systems, application process, adviser training and the requirements of ICOB.
- development of innovative products – including long term care insurance, a menu-based protection proposition, with-profits bond and unit-linked products.
- proposition and processes for a worksite marketing distribution channel including development of customer communications
- launch of a ‘direct’ operation for a major banking group
- evaluation and selection of a new life and pensions administration system for a major life company
- development of an on-line independent financial services company
Technology companies use Veronica’s services to help them understand the financial services industry; improve their marketing into the sector; develop ROI models and respond to RFIs.
Assignments range from short audits or business reviews, through to long-term projects where Veronica works closely with the client to deliver on major projects. Veronica has enjoyed repeat business from more than 75% of clients – which she’d like to think says something positive about the value and quality of her work!
