Peter Le Beau

Peter Le Beau decided to form The-Net-Work in 2001 after leaving Swiss Re. He felt there should be an opportunity for people to meet informally and discuss the major strategic issues affecting the life insurance world. The inaugural meeting was held in May 2001 and it has grown to become one of the most respected strategic forums in the Life industry. We now meet 4 times a year.

Key to the success of The-Net-Work is the mix of members, quality of speakers and the fact that it is held under Chatham House rules. We try to combine serious discussion with enjoyable informality and net-working.

The-Net-Work was the forerunner for a series of net-work groups that have grown up in the insurance industry, e.g. The-Pensions-Net-Work and Women’s-Insurance-Net-Work.

Frances Delhoy

Frances has spent most of her career in Insurance. She joined Swiss Re in 1984 as secretary to the senior management team in the Life Division and became John Coomber's PA in 1987 when he was promoted to be Head of the Life Division. She helped Peter set up Le Beau Visage when it was formed in February 2001 and is responsible for all the administration of the business.

Frances has over 20 years' experience of managing major conferences and is responsible for running The-Net-Work and The Protection Review Seminar and Launch Dinner.

Frances is married to Mark and has two children, Callum and Niamh.
